Sixty five cattle were seized and four persons arrested in the last few days by Dhubri police for allegedly attempting to smuggle cattle through the interior areas under Sapatgram, Tamarhat, Paglahat, Raniganj and Gauripur areas.
Police said the smugglers are now using the interior areas of Dhubri district to smuggle cattle into Bangladesh, but such cases have decreased drastically in the district. – Correspondent
