Diphu, March 9: Model Code of Conduct (MCC) violation cases have been reported from across the state including the hill district Karbi Anglong. It may be mentioned that during a routine checking an amount of Rs 40 lakh in cash was seized by the Barpathar police under Bokajan subdivision here today.
The cash was seized from one Pawan Kumar Sharma who was travelling by a bus bearing registration No AS 09 2272. According to a report received, Pawan Kumar was carrying the money from Dimapur.
