Cachar forest officials stop illegal construction along Assam-Mizoram border

Silchar, April 9: Cachar Forest officials led by DFO Sunnydeo Choudhary rushed to Lailapur on Assam-Mizoram border on Thursday and stopped "illegal concrete construction," allegedly done by some Mizo people at a place which is approximately 600 metres from Lailapur beat office towards Mizoram.

Later, talking to the media Choudhary informed that such construction work cannot take place in the vicinity wherein neutral forces are deployed for vigil.
