GUWAHATI, July 31 - Assam Police Blues got the better of City Police 3-1 in their match of the Guwahati Sports Association A Division Football League for the Jibeswar Goswami Memorial trophy at the Nehru Stadium here today.
In a completely one sided match, Assam Police Blues dominated the proceedings right from the word go.
Mofidul Islam broke the deadlock in the 44th minute while Kajoigeg Rongmei and Malaram Basumatary found the back of the net in the 80th and 89th minute respectively. For City Police the lone goal came through L Hmar who made no mistake in converting a penalty in the 76th minute.
