Blood donation

MANGALDAI, Nov 5 � The employees and staff serving under NRHM sponsored Village Health Out Reach Programme (VHOP) popularly known as Sanjeevani 104 health service, in addition to their regular duty showed a great example of social commitment by voluntarily donating blood here recently.

Deputy Commissioner, Darrang, MS Manivannan while inaugurating the camp said that the risk of professional blood donors could be wiped out only by holding such voluntary blood donation camps in a regular basis. He also appealed to non government organisations of the district to come forward and help the society with such noble initiative.

The inaugural function anchored by Samudra Sarma, president All Assam Sanjeevani Employees� Union was also attended by Raiyan Sabir, zonal manager.
