DIBRUGARH, Aug 22 - Several hundreds of people today staged road blockade on NH 37 near Natun Gaon here in support of their demand for stringent punishment on the killers of contractor Hemendra Dutta alias Bablu of Kumaronichiga.
The contractor was found dead near National Highway at Amollapatty yesterday morning. Dutta was undertaking works in the Dibrugarh University. Police has arrested at least three persons in this connection. The arrested are identified as Saddam Haque, Hakib Rehman and Yakib Ali. The road was open after police and civil officials intervened and assured justice to the protestors.
