Bihu greetings

GUWAHATI, April 13 � Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has extended greetings to all sections of the State�s people on the occasion of the Rongali Bihu.

An official statement received here this evening quoted the Chief Minister as saying that the Bihu festivities would be able to strengthen the age-old bond of unity and improve the traditional work culture of the people.

This will eventually inspire the people to engage themselves in the endeavours to lead the State towards peace and prosperity, said the Chief Minister.

Leader of the Opposition in the State Assembly Prafulla Kumar Mahanta and Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) president Chandra Mohan Patowary have also extended greetings to the people on the occasion of the Rongali Bihu.
