GUWAHATI, May 7 � The Kolkata franchise of the much-anticipated Indian Super League was launched today at Kolkata.
Named Atl�tico de Kolkata, it is the first franchise to be launched from among the eight city franchisees of the Indian Super League. Miguel Angel Gil Marin, owner of Atl�tico de Madrid, launched the team brand along with the four other co-owners � former Team India captain Indian Sourav Ganguly, city�s luminaries Sanjiv Goenka, chairman of RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group Harshavardhan Neotia, chairman of Ambuja Neotia Group and chairman of SMIFS Capital Markets Ltd Utsav Parekh with representatives from IMG-Reliance.
