Goalpara, April 5: In a tragic incident, a railway employee was reportedly killed on the spot by a speeding train in Goalpara district of Assam on Tuesday.
The deceased, who was identified as Dipankar Gowala, was posted at Dudhnoi Railway Station where the unfortunate incident occurred. Meanwhile, police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Further reports are awaited regarding the incident.
Earlier, a Railway Protection Force (RPF) jawan was allegedly killed after being hit by a moving train at Dibrugarh Town Railway station on April 1.
Reportedly, the deceased was identified as Havildar Dhanukumar Hajong.
