Man arrested for stabbing younger brother to death in Raha

Raha, June 4 :  A 48-year-old man was arrested by police for murdering his younger brother over a family dispute at his residence at Pashim Salmara under Raha PS on Friday evening.

Police identified the accused as Rajat Kakati, an inhabitant of Pashim Salmara. According to police the accused  had picked up fight with his younger brother Keshab Kakati ( 35 ) and reportedly at one point stabbed the victim with a knife on his chest.

Later , the victim was admitted to Nagaon B P Civil Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
