Guwahati, March 26: An accused criminal from Gohpur, Assam identified as Kamal Gogoi alias Pappu sustained a bullet injury on his left leg after he tried to escape police custody.
As per reports, the incident took place on Friday night. He was later shifted to the hospital for further treatment. The exact cause of his arrest is not known.
The police told media that the person accused of a crime sustained bullet injuries during an attempt to escape from police custody.
