Guwahati, March 30: In view of the Brahmaputra river's rising water level ferry services in Majuli, on Thursday have reportedly been suspended.
According to reports, the water transportation organisation decided to suspend ferry operations at Majuli's Aphalamukh Ferry Ghat.
At least 3 ferry ramps drowned due to the rise in water levels. Therefore, ferry services were completely suspended between Nimati Ghat and Aphalamukh Ferry Ghat.
