Drugs worth Rs 3.1 crore seized in Cachar, 2 arrested

Silchar, Oct 20: Based on secret inputs, Cachar Police arrested two persons including a woman and seized 508 gms of heroin and 650 Alprazolam tablets.

According to police, the seizure was done on Tuesday at Jirighat in Lakhipur constituency from an Eeco van coming from Manipur. The quantum of heroine seized is worth Rs 3.1 crore in international market, police said.
