BSF seizes truck in Cachar, recovers 15 buffaloes

Silchar, June 12: Based on secret inputs the BSF Intelligence Team of 1st Battalion Mizoram & Cachar Frontier conducted a special operation on Friday and recovered 15 buffaloes from an unattended suspicious truck which was parked on the NH-6 (NRL Filling station) along with a truck in Cachar district.

In a release issued to the media on Saturday, a BSF official informed that the OC, PICP Gumrah was informed immediately telephonically to reach at the spot.

While the buffaloes were priced worth Rs.12,00,000, the Tata Truck is worth Rs. 30,47,600. The official informed in the release that the seized cattle along with the truck has been handed over to the PICP Gumrah for legal actions with a requisition to lodge an FIR.
