2 bodies found in Jorhat, police start investigation

Jorhat, May 5: Two bodies were found in different areas of Jorhat town on Wednesday.

According to a police source, the body of a man was found lying dead near a known hotel at Garali near the railway gate here. He was identified as Pradip Dutta, in his forties, who was a resident of Bashbari locality here and was working in a restaurant near the place where he was found dead.

Another body of a youth, which is yet to be identified was found floating at the historic Rajmao Borpukhuri here today. Police investigation was on in both the cases.
