Silchar, March 4: In a latest development, Assam University Silchar has postponed the Odd semester examination for the under graduate courses in view of ensuing Assembly election.
It may be recalled that the university, in a previous notification had issued routine for the odd semester examination slated to start from March 9.
The latest notification issued on Thursday by Dr S Dutta Roy, Controller of Examination of the varsity has said " This is for information of all concerned that the forth coming Odd Semester Examinations, 2020 for BA / B.Sc / B.Com / BBA / BCA / B.Voc (IT) / B.Ed / LLB to be held in the month of March, 2021 are hereby postponed due to ensuing election until further notification. This is issued with approval of the competent authority."
Further, the notification mentioned that revised time tables of the said examinations shall be notified in due course of time.
