GUWAHATI, July 24 � Assam recorded another big win in the National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy.
In a cluster-VII league match at Kolkata today, Assam handed Uttarakhand 7-0 drubbing. For Assam skipper Akum Ao (2), Jilendra Brahma (2), F Wari, Ajit Singh, Sisuram Chutia were the scorers. In the next match Assam will play against Kerala on July 26.
Earlier, Assam downed Himachal Pradesh 10-0 in the opening match.
