GUWAHATI, Dec 11 - The 23rd edition of the Jwhwlao Swambla Basumatary Assam Club Championship, organized by the Assam Football Association (AFA), which was scheduled to be held at Chirang from tomorrow has been postponed due to prevailing situation.
The AFA secretary Hemendra Nath Brahma informed that the State football body has condoled the sudden demise of its vice president and MLA Rajen Borthakur.
Kho-kho body�s condolence: The Assam Kho-Kho Association condoled the death of Rajen Borthakur who was the president of Tezpur Sports Association.
