DULIAJAN, April 2 - Assam State Electricity Board Sports Club (ASEB SC) emerged champions in the Northeast Invitational Football Tournament defeating Northeast Frontier Railway Sports Club (NFR SC) by a solitary goal here today.
In an equally contested match, ASEB rode on Samujjal Rabha�s 27th minute strike to lift the title. The ASEB side received Rs 2.5 lakh along with the trophy while the railway side had to be content with Rs 1.5 lakh. The tournament was organised by Duliajan Club, stated a release.
