BARPETA, Jan 5: One Dipjyoti Deka, a resident of Baniyakuchi village, died in a road accident on Sunday night. Dipjyoti, 31, worked in the SSB and posted at Rangiya. He was coming from Rangiya to his native village riding his bike and had a head-on collision with a vehicle stationed on the Sani Road in Nalbari district. A popular youth, Dipjyoti’s death has shocked the residents of his locality. His cremation was performed amidst a huge gathering last afternoon, which was attended by officials of the SSB. – Correspondent
