KOHIMA, Nov 23 - Three days after eight Congress MLAs formally joined the ruling Naga People�s Front, the Nagaland Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo has declared them as members of the NPF Legislature Party members.
The Speaker accepted the petition of the eight � SI Jamir and seven other Congress MLAs � claiming merger and declared the claimants as members of NPF Legislature Party, the official statement issued by Assembly Commissioner and Secretary, N Benjamin Newmai said.
Besides, the other seven are � Tokheho Yepthomi, C Apok Jamir, S Hukavi Zhimomi, Dr Imtiwapang Aier, Imtikumzuk, Eshak Konyak and Khekaho Assumi. The Speaker passed the order on Saturday, Newmai added. � PTI
