4 BJP members granted bail

GUWAHATI, Aug 14 - The Court of Additional Sessions Judge, Kamrup (Guwahati) today granted bail to all the four Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) members including councilor Sunita Gilmoria who were arrested on August 8 in connection with the case that was registered after miscreants prevented the installation of the statue of Don Bosco at Bharalumukh. The other accused were Anish Gilmoria, the husband of Sunita, Raju Prasad Gupta and Raju Roy.

Earlier, the BJP staged a protest demonstrations across the state demanding the release of four of its members arrested on charges of desecrating the statue of Don Bosco.
