NORTH LAKHIMPUR, Nov 8 - A meeting of all the alumni of North Lakhimpur Girls� Higher Secondary School living in and around Guwahati is being convened to discuss its ensuing platinum jubilee celebrations.
This was stated by Debakanta Baniya, working president of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration Committee of North Lakhimpur Girls� HS School in a press release here. The meeting will be held at Karmayogi Hiteswar Saikia College at Panjabari in Guwahati on November 13 at 10 am.
The proposed meeting is a part of the reach-out programme by the platinum jubilee organising committee of the school for its alumni staying abroad, or in other parts of India and even in Assam.
All the alumnus have been asked to bring a passport-sized photograph of self, a brief note on their studying years at the school and a black ball-pen to fill up the registration form, the release said. The platinum jubilee of North Lakhimpur Girls� HS School is scheduled to be held on January 10, 11 and 12 next.
