KALAIGAON, July 11 - The alumni meet of Arunodoi Junior College, Tangla was held at Bordoloi Bhawan, Tangla on July 10 with various programmes. It is worth mentioning here that students of this college in Udalguri district have been performing excellent results since its establishment in 2010. The hoisting of the college flag by Napoleon Daimari, principal, Arunodoi Academy School, Tangla marked the beginning of the day-long programme in the morning followed by tribute paying ceremony and tree plantation programme.
A colourful cultural rally was flagged off on the occasion by Pranabjyoti Das, principal, Arunodoi Junior College at 9 am. DN Hazarika, ADC, Udalguri district inaugurated the souvenir. Paragmoni Aditya of News-18 NE attended as the distinguished guest.
Special session of present and ex-teachers of the college was also held on the occasion. All the teachers were felicitated for their dedication and support. Special session of introduction and felicitation of Arunodoi Junior College alumni was conducted by LK Ramchiary and S Bhattacharya respectively.
