GUWAHATI, Feb 9 � The beleaguered rhino which has been falling easy prey to marauding gangs of poachers in the famed Kaziranga National Park will have it easy this year � if the predication made in the �Bishuddha Panjika� is to be believed.
The almanac which was formally released at the Guwahati Press Club today has also predicted that the present Congress Government would suffer serious setbacks in the forthcoming Assembly polls next year but would still be able to form a coalition Government.
Dr Prabodh Sarma, �tattvavadhak� and publisher of the almanac, also said that dissidence in the State Congress which had subsidized now would again raise its ugly head, while many senior politicians would witness their fortunes plummet drastically.
�The State is likely to witness severe natural calamities, while most of the other pressing concerns such as militancy, terrorism, crimes and unrest will increase,� he said.
