SILAPATHAR, March 12 � The Kulajan Kendriya Ali-Aye-Ligang Utsav will be held at Kulajan Chariali with a three-day programme starting March 14.
On the first day, the sixth annual Ali-Aye-Ligang flag will be hoisted by Ashok Pait, president of the celebration committee, which will be followed by swahid tarpan by Ghana Pegu, secretary of the celebration committee.
The �Juri, Ali-Aye-Liggad will be initiated by Bhakta Prahlad Pegu, executive president. �Aainitom�, �Anunitom� song competition and �Dumdum Monka Minsunam� drum beating competition will also be held on the occassion.
A cultural procession will be taken out on the second day. �Ligang Koneng�, �Mibu Dagnam� and �Gumrag� (Young) will be held on the day.
On third day, solo dance and �Gumrag� for aged person will be organised. The open meeting will be inaugurated by Harinarayan Pegu, ex-president of TMPK, where Bhuban Pegu, local MLA will attend as chief guest.
