UDALGURI, March 24 - Peeved by spread of endless falsehood and hollow promises uttered by politicians of various hues in Assam over the years, the Atul Barman faction of All Koch Rajbongshi Students� Union (AKRSU) has decided to press the NOTA button in the forthcoming general election in order to register their silent and collective protest against the political fraudsters.
The above was informed by Atul Barman, president of the students� organisation here at Rowta yesterday.
Addressing a press meet, Barman said this time the Koch Rajbongshi community will teach a lesson to all the concerned political parties by boycotting them and barring their entry into Koch-Rajbongshi community- dominated regions of the state. He said the students� organisation is not against the democratic process, but the AKRSU is against the political parties who have hoodwinked the indigenous communities.
