GUWAHATI, Feb 23 - The Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba-Chatra Parishad (AJYCP) today slammed the Central Government for allegedly depriving the State youths of jobs in the Railways. The student body warned that if the Railway authorities continue to mete out stepmotherly treatment to the local youths, it would be compelled to take to the path of agitation.
The AJYCP insisted that local candidates should get the preference in railway recruitment in future.
