IMPHAL, Dec 3 - Manipur Information and Public Relations Minister Thongam Biswajit on Sunday said that steps are on to construct a press colony and park for the media persons in the State.
Biswajit made the announcement while addressing the silver jubilee celebration of Tangkhul bilingual newspaper Aja Daily at Tribal Research Institute auditorium here on Sunday.
Editor of Aja Daily, Valley Rose Hungyo, the only lady editor in the State, felicitated the newspaper�s former and present staff.
The Aja Daily is the first Tangkhul daily newspaper in Manipur, established on December 3, 1992.
