AIR prog on Sankaradeva tithi today

GUWAHATI, Sept 10 - All India Radio, Guwahati will broadcast a special programme from 10 am tomorrow on the occasion of the tithi of Srimanta Sankaradeva, stated a press release issued here today.

The programme titled �Baarek Korohu Pronam� will comprise live broadcast from Barpeta, Borduwa, Majuli, Shillong, Duliajan and Jorhat. It will also include naams, borgeets and a discussion on the relevance of Sankaradeva�s teachings in the present times. Dr Gyanendra Barman and Krishna Kinkar Khanikar will take part in the discussion. The programme will also be telecast live on the AIR Live mobile app.
