AIIMS to come up at Changsari

GUWAHATI, June 26 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal will formally hand over the plot of land at Changsari to the Centre for setting up of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on June 28.

State Health and Family Welfare Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma told media persons today that as per the understanding, the State will have to bear the costs for roads, water and electricity which will be around Rs 45 crore.

�We plan to complete the project in three years� time,� Sarma added.
