By Staff Reporter

GUWAHATI, May 28 - Agriculture Minister Atul Bora has called upon the officials of the department to work with commitment to secure for the farmers their rightful dues and accord them the status of first-class citizens in the society.

Addressing a departmental meeting at the Directorate of Agriculture today, Bora said that the people of the State have vested a lot of responsibilities on the new government to kick-start its development process which, he said, would be impossible as long as agriculturists continue to languish.
