Azara, March 11: With the Assam Assembly elections round the corner and seat-sharing between BJP and AGP finalised, an organisational meeting of West Guwahati Vidhan Parishad of Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) was held on Wednesday at Dharapur.
Attending the meeting, alliance candidate and AGP 's sitting MLA Ramendra Narayan Kalita sought help and cooperation from both the BJP and AGP workers and the people in general in the ensuing election. Kalita hoped that he will win the seat with huge margin.
Several organisational issues and election strategies were discussed in the meeting. AGP leaders Jiten Deka, Parameswar Barman, Paresh Barua , Rabin Daimari among others were also present in the meeting.
An election song of AGP sung by Chandan Das was also released during the meeting.
