JORHAT,Aug 18 - To convince the voters to cast their mandate for their party in the coming Assembly polls, AGP president Atul Bora and several party workers started door-to-door campaign at the Jankhona locality of Raja Hauli village panchayat of Jorhat on Monday.
Criticising both the Congress and the BJP, the AGP president said at a public meeting, that the two national political parties have overlooked the greater interests of the State many times.
According to Bora, only a regional party like the AGP can fulfil the hopes of the people. The district-level workers of Jorhat AGP participated in the campaign. The party workers said that they would win the people�s mandate in the coming polls to form the Government, as neither a BJP Government nor that of the Congress could solve the serious problems faced by the State in their current tenures.
