DIBRUGARH, May 6 � In keeping with the Statewide protest against the land swap deal between India with Bangladesh in which Assam will have to give away some enclaves, the district unit of the Asom Gana Parishad and its youth wing Asom Yuba Parishad today staged protest at Chowkidinghee intersection even as they burnt the effigies of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi.
Asom Yuba Parishad president Sunil Rajkonwar described the Prime Minister Modi as a betrayer and Chief Minister Gogoi as an anti Assamese.
