GUWAHATI, July 15 - Assam Rock and Sport Climbing Association has organised a Summer Adventure Camp to give a detail awareness of various adventure sports among the youths of Assam. The activities were started at the 4th AP Bn campus, Kahilipara here on July 8 and concluded at Sandhyachal Hill, Basistha Mandir on July 10.

Altogether 37 youths in the age group of 8 to 30 years took part in the camp. During the training Everester Tarun Saikia and other experienced trainers imparted basic training on rock climbing, trekking, sport climbing, rafting, rappelling, different methods of river crossings among others. On the closing ceremony president of the Association Dr Durlav Chamua distributed certificates to the participants, stated a release.
