Adarsha Janani, Amrit Prabah awards announced

GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - Active social worker and cultural activist Arunamoyee Bisoya has been named for the Adarsha Janani Award, while senior journalist Atanu Bhuyan has been selected for the Amrit Prabah Award instituted by the Adarsha Janani Shashiprabha Kalita Memorial Committee and Amrit Prabah Media House respectively.

According to a press release, the awards will be presented to Bisoya and Bhuyan at a function scheduled to be held in the District Library auditorium on September 25.

Acclaimed author Nirupama Borgohain, Mrinalini Devi, Dr Lakhyahira Das and Dr Dayananda Pathak will distribute the awards.
