DIBRUGARH, Sept 1 - The Assam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS) while joining the nation in mourning the death of former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, today held a special condolence meet at its central office here.
Former Union Minister and ACMS president Paban Singh Ghatowar who had a close relationship with former President and Bharat Ratna Pranab Mukherjee presided over the condolence meet where the trade union paid respect to the departed soul and prayed for the repose of his soul.
Vice President of ACMS Nabin Keot, all the office bearers and employees of the ACMS central office here paid tributes to the former President of India by lighting lamps and showering flower petals at the portrait of Pranab Mukherjee during the shradhanjali programme, a release stated.
