NORTH LAKHIMPUR, June 18 - Three youngsters lost their lives whereas two received serious injuries in a tragic road accident at Kulabali, 12 kms east of North Lakhimpur on Sunday.
The mishap occurred when a Grand i-10 car bearing registration number AS07F 7865 rammed a culvert on NH-15 in Kulabali under Bogeenadi Police Station with great speed and fell into a gorge several feet below the road. Police and local public rushed to the spot and pulled up the vehicle from the water in the gorge but found three of its occupants dead.
The dead have been identified as Bhargav Gogoi, Jitendra Agarwal and Abhijeet Roy. The other two, Niyaz Ahmed and Yashid Agarwal were found seriously injured and rushed to the hospital. All the youngsters are students of Class X of St Mary�s School.
