GUWAHATI, Oct 21 - The 30th academic conference of the All India Federation of University and College Teachers� Organisations (AIFUCTO) will be organised under the aegis of the Assam College Teachers� Association (ACTA) from December 7 to 9 in Guwahati.
The organising committee, with Chief Minister as its chief patron and Education Minister as the president, has already been constituted and preparations for the conference are on in full swing, a press statement said.
Since its inception in 1962, this is for the first time that the academic conference of AIFUCTO is being held in the northeast India. Around one thousand delegates and guests from different States are expected to take part in the conference.
The organising committee also launched the website for the conference today.
