ACA signs-up Sriram

GUWAHATI, Aug 8 � Former One-day International player and an all rounder Sridharan Sriram has signed an agreement with Assam Cricket Association to play for the State in the forthcoming Ranji Trophy. ACA secretary Bikash Baruah, treasurer Ghanashyam Baruah, assistant secretary Sushanta Biswa Sarma were present when Sriram signed the aggrement at the ACA office this evening.

Sriram, a first class cricketer from Tamil Nadu, was a member of the Bangalore Royal Challengers team in the IPL. Last season he played for Goa in Ranji Trophy and scored 148 against Kerala.

Sriram has played 8 ODIs scoring an aggregate of 81 runs with 1 fifty. His first class career is studded with 30 centuries and 33 half centuries in 120 matches. In the bowling department, Sriram has taken 9 wickets in ODIs and in first class cricket, he has 83 wickets with best figures of 4 for 26.
