ACA reward to Sarupam, Tarjinder

GUWAHATI, Jan 24 � The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has announced a cash award of Rs 25,000 to Sarupam Purkayastha for his remarkable performance in the Ranji Trophy matches this season. Tarjinder Singh, who scored a century (119 not out) against Goa, will also be awarded Rs 10,000.

Announcing the reward, ACA president Gautam Roy and secretary Bikash Baruah congratulated the team for its laudable show in this season�s Ranji Trophy. Sarupam has taken 29 wickets so far this season including two ten-wicket hauls and five five-wicket hauls.
