GUWAHATI, Nov 9 - The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) today announced lucrative cash awards to the performing players in various level BCCI tournaments.
Announcing the awards in a press conference here today, the ACA secretary Devajit Saikia said that the batsmen who will score century in Ranji Trophy will become richer by Rs 2,00,000 while the five wicket taker in an innings will get Rs 1,00,000 respectively. Similarly, the centurions in Vijay Hazare and Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy will be awarded Rs 1,00,000. The century makers in BCCI�s senior women limited over tournaments will also get Rs 1,00,000.
On the other hand the bowlers who will capture 10 wickets in a Ranji Trophy match will be awarded Rs 3,00,000 while with a 10-wicket haul in Vijay Hazare and Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy matches will get Rs 2,00,000.
Players, both men and women, of U-16, U-19 and U-23 age groups will also be provided cash awards. For century makers ACA announces Rs 1,00,000 while 10 wicket takers in a match will get Rs 2,00,000.
Dasarath Kumar, who has been included in the India Red team in the BCCI U-19 Challengers� Trophy was congratulated by the ACA.
The State cricket body also announced the dates and venues for different inter district tournaments.
