GUWAHATI, April 6 - The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) will donate an amount of Rs 25 lakh to the Chief Minister�s Relief Fund and Rs 25 lakh to the Assam Arogya Nidhi for Assam Covid Care in order to support the Assam Government in its battle to tackle the spread of coronavirus and to provide treatment and quarantine measures to the affected people.

Stating this in an ACA statement, secretary Devajit Saikia further said, ACA president Romen Dutta has announced that there will be no pay cut of 71 ACA employees for the month of March although the office work is completely paralysed due to the nationwide lockdown.

The ACA officials have appealed the people of Assam to cooperate with the government in carrying out various programmes in fighting against the coronavirus outbreak.
