GUWAHATI, Feb 23 - The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, Assam Pradesh, took out a �Triranga Padayatra� here today, calling upon the people to be on the vigil against all anti-national and separatist elements.
The student body appealed to the society to honour the flag and the sacrifices made by the sentinels of the country, who have been protecting the country.
The student body, while condemning the JNU incident in strong words, demanded that stringent action be taken against all those involved in anti-national activities and encouraging separatist tendencies. �This is a dangerous trend that the Leftist camp is encouraging. The youth of the country are ready to thwart all such anti-national developments,� said the ABVP.
