ABSU president for end to BPF misrule

By Correspondent

MUSHALPUR, March 28 The people of BTAD have seen the worst forms of corruption and misrule in the decade-long reign of the BPF and they are seeking a positive change in the BTAD. Only an enlightened and pure mind matters in winning elections in a democratic society. The politically mature people of BTAD will defy the gun and reject the influence of money. It is high time that even licensed arms were seized by the authorities to ensure a safe environment, this was stated by Pramod Boro, president of the ABSU, while addressing an election meeting in favour of PCDR candidate Katiram Boro for No. 25 Baganpara BTC LAC at Debosara and Subankhata recently.

Boro alleged that the BPF offices have become the hubs of sharing the loot among its leaders. He said that the ABSU has been playing a positive role in the elections since 1999 in the larger interest of the masses. This time it is supporting the PCDR as a right alternative to usher in the desired development in the BTAD, encompassing all people irrespective of caste, creed and language.

We have lived together for ages and are destined to live together in the days to come. Why can we not come together to give the BTAD a new direction and ensure a violence-free existence sans the gun culture? Boro added.

He urged all people to unite to bring an end to extortions, kidnapping and killing that the BTAD has experienced for long.
