BONGAIGAON, June 23 - Jawans of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force (ITBPF) had allegedly attacked the ABSUs unit office and physically assaulted one of its activists Tuesday night at Birhangaon under Dhaligaon Police Station in Chirang district.

The injured ABSU activist has been identified as Ganpat Mushahary (27). He was sleeping in the office when the ITBPF jawans barged into it unprovoked and beat him up brutally, the student leaders alleged.
