DIBRUGARH, Dec 11 - The Assam Branch Indian Tea Association (ABITA) in collaboration with the UNICEF organized a virtual orientation programme on Solid Liquid Waste Management (SLWM) under Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin)-Phase II for the welfare officers of tea gardens.
Nearly 102 welfare officers from different tea gardens in the districts of Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Sivasagar, Charaideo, Golaghat, Sonitpur, Biswanath and Udalguri under ABITA Zone 1, 2 and 3 participated, a press release stated.
The objective of the programme was to apprise the welfare officers about the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin)-Phase II. The virtual orientation covered detailed information on the Solid Liquid Waste Management initiative.
