GUWAHATI, Sept 6 - The felicitation function of the Abhiruchi Sports Day celebration committee will be held on September 9 at the Landmark Hotels here.
After hosting the mass jogging, PT and dance competitions on September 3, the organisers will conduct a seminar on the topic of � �Physical education should be a compulsory subject in school curriculum� on September 9 along with a State level quiz competition for the students of Class IX to XII and the felicitation function. The quiz competition will start at 11 am at the Tarun Ram Phookan Indoor Stadium while the seminar will be held at the Landmark Hotels from 10 am onwards.
The felicitation function will start at 5.30 pm, informed organising body�s president Balendra M Chakravarty in a release.
