GUWAHATI, April 6 - In the low scoring final of the Nabin Chandra Tamuly Trophy GSA A Division Cricket League at the IIT ground in North Guwahati today, Gauhati Town Club (GTC) took a 35-run first innings lead against Bud Cricket Club.
On the opening day of the two-day final, opting to field first, GTC riding on a devastating spell by Abhinav Choudhury (7/18) bundled out Bud Cricket Club for 91 runs in the first innings in 32.2 overs. Tarjinder Singh was the only Bud batsman who could put up some resistance as other batsmen miserably failed to counter Abhinav.
In reply, GTC were all out for 126 in 45.3 overs with Sumit Kashyap being their top scorer with 35.
In the second innings, Bud CC were 18 for the loss of one wicket.
